Butler Medical Transport was started in November 2001 The business started as a hobby, realizing that the area needed a dependable, compassionate transportation service that was customer service oriented. Butler Medical Transport visualized that patients need to be treated as if it was the crew’s family being transported. In 2002, an office was opened in Pikesville, MD and serviced the Baltimore metro region, primarily Carroll and Baltimore Counties. In 2005, a second office was opened in Laurel to service the DC metro region. A third office was opened in 2007 in Reisterstown to better service the Carroll County region. Currently, Butler Medical Transport and Butler Mobility operates over 30 vehicles and services the Baltimore/DC metro regions. Butler Medical Transport runs all types of calls for service per year and some of our larger contracts include Carroll Hospital Center, Holy Cross Hospital, Continuum Care of Sykesville, Holy Cross Rehab and Carroll County Medical Assistance. Rick Yaffe, Owner, Stresses to the Butler Medical Transport staff each day to embrace it with optimism and professionalism. He has been known to state that “I don't want to be the busiest company out there, just the best.” This has been proven true in that all of our contracted customers are extremely happy about our services and recommend our services to other facilities throughout the state. |
