Is directly responsible for properly deploying unit hours, using approved System Status Management techniques; serves as the first contact with callers and, as such, will often be called upon to gather all appropriate information from callers, and enter it into CAD system; using Medical Priority Dispatch protocols; passes on pertinent information, and provides direction to ambulance personnel; this person must possess the innate ability to perform several tasks at one time.  For a complete job description click here.
